Columbia’s One-design Level Offshore Race Series (COLORS) has been Chicago’s season opener for more than 20 years. Traditionally, the first weekend in June, the event serves as a tune-up for one design and PHRF fleets. More than 80 boats come to the starting line every year for two days of racing and parties. There are always strong showings from the J/Boat, Farr 40, T-10 and Beneteau classes.

I looked at the Verve SI and scratch sheet to figure out what was different, got confused, and then got un-confused. A summary:
Our ORC section is doing triangle buoy races on Fri and Sunday.
No buoy races at all on Saturday. Instead, everyone is doing the Tour of Chicago distance race which looks a lot like the Columbia Cup distance race we did (someone should check to see if they are identical because there's no maps in the Verve SI, just a list of marks).
The scratch sheet has a "Tour of Chicago" section and we're not in it because that lists boats that are ONLY doing the Saturday race. All sections do the Tour of Chicago on Saturday.
The Sunday buoy races are more important then they usually are when there's 3 days of buoy racing.

Can we also confirm the crew for the Hook? Eric and Dan are still listed as "Maybe" but sounds like Eric is going. We have a new person (Skip) not listed.

Can we confirm that the boat call is at 7am? Planning the drive up, and want to make sure we have the right time.Also, anybody who wants a shore bag brought up, my wife will be happy to bring them if you get them to her.She is planning on having beer and whiskey standing by on shore.

I will probably be getting a ride home from my wife and will have room for 2-3 other people (depending on how willing you are to have a 60lb dog on your lap). Presumably leaving around 3 unless we get in crazy early or crazy late.
